Deputy Commissioner told the department to set up one camp in each Community-Primary Health Centre of the district and create awareness among the general public about camps in advance through Municipal Councillors/Sarpanchs/Asha workers so that the specially-abled persons can take maximum benefit of the schemes.

He asked them to ensure enrolment of 500 specially-abled persons daily though the camps and he would personally review the progress of the enrolment.

He appealed to all specially-abled persons to bring their Aadhaar Card, Voter Card or any proof of age, passport size photograph and others for UDID in the camps.

Nodal Officer UDID scheme Dr. Anu said UDID would be having a Quick Response (QR) code that helps in ascertaining the credentials of specially-abled persons.
