O/O District Public Relations Officer, Jalandhar, January 5-As many as 35 services related to the transport department now would also beprovided to the citizen through the Sewa Kendras of the district.
Divulging more information, Deputy Commissioner GhanshyamThori said that the services including Duplicate Driving license, Renewal ofLicence, Address Change, Replacement Licence, NOC, Name Change, Mobile Update,Conductor Licence Renewal, Online Tax Registered Transport, Duplicate RC,Extension learning Licence, Duplicate Learning Licence, Correction of Name inLearning Licence, Duplicate RC, Checking Application Status, Withdrawal ofapplication, Check E-Payment status, online self-Backlog of RC, NOC of otherstate and others would be offered in 33 Sewa Kendras of the district.
Thori said that a facilitation fee of Rs 50 would becollected by the Sewa Kendra per application.
He said that directions have already been given to theofficials to strictly adhere to the timely resolution of the complaints filedby the citizen on the portal.
Deputy Commissioner said that the Punjab Government iscommitted to giving topmost priority to provide the services of the transportdepartment to citizens in a hassle-free manner.
