
Jalandhar, February 8- Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thorion Monday reviewed the preparations for the state-level virtual launch of 56additional citizen services through Sewa Kendras, by Chief Minister CaptAmarinder Singh on Tuesday at Chandigarh.
Presiding over the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner saidthat the Punjab Government is committed to giving topmost priority to providepublic services to citizens in a hassle-free manner. He said that the SewaKendras have been acting as facilitating agency for the people coming for theirroutine administrative works.
He said that these new 56 additional citizen servicesthrough Sewa Kendra will facilitate the people.
He asked the officials to ensure elaborate arrangements ofthe virtual launch in the Sewa Kendras and other places excluding the areaswhere model code of conduct is being enforced due to elections in six municipalcouncils and two Nagar panchayats.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that the officers havebeen assigned duties regarding the function and any sort of callousness in thisduty is unwarranted and undesirable.
