A man was killed after a horrific accident on the Zirakpur-Patiala highway in Mohali, Punjab, late Wednesday night. A speeding BMW rammed a bike with three passenegers on the highway, killing 1 and critically injuring 2 of them.
As per reports, the bike got stuck between a truck parked on the roadside after being rammed by the BMW, crushing the riders.
All 3 bike readers were then rushed to a nearby hospital where one of them, Sahib, succumbed to his injuries. The other 2, identified as Sumit and Rajveer Singh, residents of Pabhat village, are currently undergoing treatment at the JP Hospital.
This follows a slew of road accidents involving rash driving. Most notably, the Pune Porsche accident involving a prominent Mumbai builder’s minor son. The minor had crashed his Porsche into a bike carrying 2 techies, killing them.
