While the Indian box office is witnessing an overwhelming response after the release of Gadar 2, Oh My God 2, and Jailer, another much-awaited movie starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Pandey titled Dream Girl 2 is all set to hit the theaters. Dream Girl 2 is a sequel to the 2019 hit comedy movie Dream Girl which also stars Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh and Seema Pahwa. Dream Girl 2 where to watch
Dream Girl 2 will be released on the big screens on August 25 and fans can watch it by going to their nearby theaters. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and Produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, Dream Girl 2 will take forward the story from its first part. In Dream Girl 1 fans witnessed Ayushmann's father and everyone getting to know the fact that he was Pooja with whom they used to talk over call. To be precise, struggling Ayushmann took the job of a call center girl with whom people used to talk over call to be her friend. Although the people talking to 'Pooja' did not it was actually Ayushmann who mimicked a girl's voice and following that comical chaos erupts.
In Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann's father played by Anu Kapoor accepted his reality and therefore they start to bank on his talent. Notably, Ayushmann will be seen marrying one of the characters in the movie in a woman attire. Dream Girl sequel is expected to bring much more comedy than its previous part.
Nushrratt Bharuccha 'upset' after being replaced in Dream Girl 2
Nushrratt Bharuccha recently in an interview expressed that she is upset by the decision of the makers to replace her with Ananya Pandey in Dream Girl 2. The actress further revealed she was not even given a reason why Dream Girl 2 makers replaced her. She was quoted saying, "You'll have to ask the makers of the film that question. I really didn't have the heart to ask them, 'Why did you not take me?' I couldn't. I just said, okay, they didn't ask me, it's okay. As I said, I've become very accepting. It applies to all aspects. I've accepted, so no stress."
