In the name of gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Ravneet Singh Bittu, MP from Ludhiana, has received death threats. The MP has complained about the matter to Gaurav Yadav, DGP of Punjab. At the same time, Rajiv Raja, the former district head of Ludhiana, has consistently received threats.

According to the information received, the caller in the name of gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria has said that Bittu should not hinder the release of the Bandhi Singhs. Stop speaking negatively about the Bandhi Singhs; otherwise, horrible things will happen. Already Z category security of MP Bittu has been increased to Z+.

Recently, the security perimeter around MP Bittu's Delhi home was also expanded. Additionally, a secure perimeter has been established around the Ludhiana residence. Police officials have asked to install high-quality CCTV cameras along with deploying guards outside the house.

Ravneet Bittu is a Member of Parliament from Ludhiana in Punjab. He is the late Beant Singh's grandson, the state's former Chief Minister. On September 10, 1975, he was born in the Afghan village of Kotla in Ludhiana. He has studied till 12th standard. Bittu is seen as close to Rahul Gandhi because he began his political career by ascending to the position of head of the Punjab Youth Congress. Rahul was the reason Bittu received a Lok Sabha ticket from Anandpur Sahib in 2009. Following this, he also won elections in 2014 and 2019 from Ludhiana.
