Meanwhile, the couple has been waiting for their film, '83, to be released in theaters since last year. Due to the COVID 19 lockout, the film's release was delayed last year. The film will be released on June 4, 2021, this year. Ranveer Singh plays Kapil Dev, and Deepika Padukone plays his wife Romi Dev in the film. In addition, Deepika has a role in Shakun Batra's upcoming film with Ananya Panday and Sidharth Malhotra.
