The three times filmfare award winner and the most paid actress of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone currently met Rishi and Neetu Kapoor  when she was in New York to attend the Met Gala 2019.

The stunning actress spent time with the Kapoor duo, who have been posted in the Big Apple since September 2018 for senior medical treatment of cancer. Nevertheless Rishi brother, Randhir Kapoor confirmed on Rishi health that “Yes, he is much better, and he will come back soon. [On whether he is completely cured], he on his way to full recovery and it takes time, he got to finish the whole course, but he fine.”

During his time in New York, Rishi has been visited by several Bollywood personalities such as Sonali Bendre, Anupam Kher and Priyanka Chopra.
Deepika, who once wooed Ranbir Kapoor, was said to be on cordial terms with the family back then. The Kapoors were obviously delighted to meet Deepika. The three of them spent a golden time together. Neetu Singh also shared a few pictures on her Instagram handle with DP. She captioned the pictures saying, “Such a fun evening with adorable @deepikapadukone .. gave lot of love n warmth (sic).”

Bollywood people very beautifully proved that they don’t let the past affect the present and let bygones be bygones. In the past Rishi had been publically cold and bitter for Deepika. Nevertheless, Alia was one of the first ones to like and react on the post. Adding on to the golden moments, the actress returned with a gift from the couple, which she showed off on her social media handle. The gift is basically a beautiful bracelet, which has been designed by Ranbir sister Riddhima. DP tagged Neetu as well as Riddhima in the picture. The caption read, “blessings & good wishes..."

The actress has recently participated in Met Gala 2019 with her adorable Barbie look. Deepika Padukone will be seen in   Meghna Gulzar Chhapaak which would mark her first step in the ladder as a producer too. The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal.
