Delhi deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia after the CBI raids on Delhi Excise Policy Scam at his residence has shared an old video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter criticizing the erstwhile central government for launching raids on politicians in opposition while the former was the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

The caption with the post made in Hindi reads, “It is clear that the season changes slowly with the passage of time, but the pace at which you changed has left the winds stunned as well.”

In the video, Modi can be heard questioning the government in power over the baseless manner in which the CBI was conducting raids on the premises of the leaders of the opposition.

Modi also questions the officers then working for the CBI, saying your actions to please your political masters don’t stand with democratic principles.

Modi as the CM of Gujarat was addressing a gathering where he was mentioning a wide range of issues raised as concern on the manner how CBI raids were disturbing his fellow party members and ministers in the state.

Sisodia made a reference to the CBI raids saying, "It's unfortunate that PM keeps thinking against whom should a CBI 'Look Out Circular' be issued today. Today, the country is looking for a leader who can give solutions to inflation, and unemployment. The public will give a 'look out notice' to them in 2024."

CBI team leaves Sisodia's house, seizes computer, cellphone

CBI on Friday conducted a raid on Manish Sisodia's house over the alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Delhi Excise Policy. After the proceedings, CBI registered a case against Sisodia and other high-profile officials including 10 liquor licensees on a reference from the Ministry of Home Affairs

He even went on to say the country has lost all its faith in the CBI and the politicians directing the CBI to launch such activities will have to answer at the right time.
