Delhi Police has now detained former AAP legislator Sukhpal Singh Khera and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Democratic leader Parminder Singh Dhindsa from Jantar Mantar on November 26. 

Reportedly, these leaders visited Jantar-Mantar to support the Punjab farmers' who are marching towards Delhi under the 'Dilli Chalo' Movement to stage a protest there against the Centre over the contentiously passed three farm laws. 

According to the reports, Haryana Police on Thursday used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the farmers' group from Punjab proceeding towards Delhi.

However, the farmers allegedly tried to jump police barricades and entered Haryana. 

Meanwhile, security has been beefed up at Delhi's borders with Gurugram and Faridabad to stop the farmers from entering into the national capital. Officials have also deployed drone cameras for security surveillance at Delhi borders.
