‘Delhi, Punjab sorted…now preparing for Gujarat’: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann in his roadshow

After a historic win in Punjab Assembly Elections, the Aam Aadmi Party now decided to expand its base in Gujarat

After a landslide victory in the Punjab polls, the Aam Aadmi Party is now eyeing the Assembly elections of Gujarat. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann holds a roadshow with AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in Ahmedabad. 

The Gujarat Assembly elections are scheduled to be held at the end of this year. The roadshow covered Nikol and the Bapunagar area of Ahmedabad. The two-kilometer roadshow was called Tiranga Yatra and is expectedly attended by nearly 50000 people. 

During the roadshow Bhagwant Mann said, “Delhi and Punjab sorted, now we are preparing for Gujarat.” Delhi CM & AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal was also present at the roadshow. The party will contest all 182 seats in the Gujarat elections.

CM Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal also visited the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. They also took a tour of Hriday Kunj, the place where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay in the Sabarmati Ashram, and also visited the museum there. They also wrote their opinion in the visitors' book at the ashram. Arvind Kejriwal wrote in Ashram’s visitor book, "This ashram is a spiritual place. It seems as if Gandhiji's spirit resides here. Coming here gives a spiritual feeling. I consider myself blessed to have been born in the country in which Gandhiji was born."

After Delhi, Punjab is the only state where the AAP government was formed. The special thing is that here he won 92 out of 117 seats. This is the reason why the Aam Aadmi Party is now giving assurance in Gujarat also that the people of Gujarat can do the same way as people in Punjab trusted them. At the same time, the presence of Bhagwant Mann with Kejriwal confirms that he is fighting the Gujarat elections seriously.
