Mother and son used to go every night to throw off pieces of man’s body. Reportedly, a CCTV footage was released on June 1 where the son was seen carrying a bag in his hand along with mother. Another video then surfaced which showed duo looking for place to dispose off body pieces. While police were patrolling in Pandav Nagar, body parts of deceased were found on June 5, 2022. As body was deeply decomposed it became impossible to identify whose body was it. After deep investigation, police came to know that body belongs to Anjan Das, a resident of Trilokpuri.

Post-questioning with all suspects and checking every evidence, police revealed that Anjan’s wife Poonam along with her son murdered him as she doubted him of having an illicit relationship. Firstly, Poonam gave sleeping pills to her husband then killed him. After murder, she along with her son cut Anjan’s body part into 22 pieces and kept them in fridge.
