The South film industry went into shock after singer Suchithra made shocking claims about Dhanush & Aishwarya Rajnikanth's divorce. South super-star Dhanush and film-maker Aishwarya Rajinikanth in 2024 filed for their divorce, two years after they announced that they had broken up. Dhanush got married to Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya in 2004, however, in 2022, they announced that they were getting separated and ever since then the power couple had been living away from each other. This indeed shocked not only South movie industry but also Bollywood and fans all over India. Many wondered what went wrong between Dhanush and Aishwarya or what is Dhanush-Aishwarya's divorce reason or Dhanush & Aishwarya's cause of death? Now, singer Suchithra in an interview has made massive claims about it. Below is what Suchithra said-
"Aishwaryaa is accusing Dhanush of cheating on her but that is what she has also done throughout the marriage. That is double standards, no? Aishwaryaa has cheated on Dhanush, Dhanush has cheated on Aishwaryaa. They’ve been a couple who have been systematically cheating on each other."
On being asked about the basis of her revelations, Suchithra said, "They have had small flings. They have sat at the bar and had drinks with the person they are dating...When you’re in a marriage, will you go on a date?"
Not only this, Suchithra further added, "I hope the children stay with their grandfather." Suchithra was referring to South Superstar Rajinikanth.
Dhanush & Aishwarya's divorce
For the unversed, the couple has filed for their divorce in a Chennai Court. Dhanush and Aishwarya applied for divorce by mutual consent under Section 13 B of the Hindu Marriage Act. Dhanush and Aishwarya, who lived together for 18 years, have two sons - Yatra and Linga. Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth got married on 18 November 2004. Their marriage was a grand affair. They welcomed their firstborn Yatra in 2006, and their second son Longa was born in 2010.
Recently, Dhanush is in the spotlight over reports that his elder son Yatra Raja has scored 569 out of 600 in Class 12th Board Exams. As per reports, Yatra Raja has scored 98 out of 100 in language, 92 in English, 99 in Mathematics, 91 in Physics, and 92 in Chemistry. He has scored 97 in Biology and his total marks are 569 out of 600.
