Dhruv Rathee's fame has been witnessing a meteoric rise ever since the YouTuber multiple a series of videos against the BJP and called the Prime Minister a dictator. Dhruv Rathee is a Haryana-born YouTuber who lives in Germany along with his wife Juli Lbr-Rathee. With India engulfed in Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Dhruv Rathee has been making videos for his YouTuber attacking the BJP, Prime Minister Modi, and his policies. Apart from calling PM Modi a dictator, Dhruv Rathee has also made multiple videos of Electoral Bonds calling it the biggest scam by a government. Meanwhile, a WhatsApp forward is going viral on social media with the claims that Dhruv Rathee's wife Juli Lbr's father is a Pakistani and lives in Karachi under the protection of ISI.
The WhatsApp forward reads, "Breaking truth about Dhruv Rathi who runs the anti-Modi, anti-BJP, anti-RSS and anti-Sanathan canard (there is no Maheshwari) cloaking as Hindu...His real name is Badru Rashid, full name being Badruddin Rashid Lahori.*..He was born in Lahore, Pakistan and his wife Julie (Christian sounding name) is also a Pakistani, whose real name is Zulaikha (patently muslim name). They live in world notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim's secret Alishan bungalow in Karachi where Y+ and Z+ security of ISI and the Pakistani army is provided to them."
A user shared similar claims on X with the caption, "The Father-in-law of anti-national agent Dhruv Rathee was allegedly a Pakistani Citizen. He and his wife came to Germany in 1995. He worked in a private firm . Juli lbr, is the only daughter & was born in 1997 in Germany. Should I call him an ISI agent?"
Dhruv Rathee's reaction to Pakistani father-in-law
Reacting to the viral claim that Dhruv Rathee's father-in-law is a Pakistani, the YouTuber took to his Instagram handle and called it fake news. Dhruv wrote, "How desperate do you have to be to drag my wife’s innocent family into this? You can see the disgusting moral standard of the IT Cell. They have no answer to the questions I raised in my videos. They’re completely rattled! They’re getting more shameless day by day regarding the lies they spew. For the record, I’m obviously 100% Indian and my wife is 100% German." It is pertinent to mention here that Dhruv Rathee who is known for presenting facts and figures, did not share the details of his father-in-law.
Talking about Dhruv Rathee's wife, the YouTuber got married to his long-time girlfriend Juli Lbr at the Belvedere Palace, in Vienna, Austria. Dhruv Rathee introduced her (then) girlfriend Juli Lbr for the first time to his followers in 2019. As per reports, Dhruv dated Juli Lbr for five years and finally, he confessed to the world that he was dating the German girl. After marrying Juli Lbr in a European ceremony, Dhruv also got married with Indian culture & customs.
