DIG Patiala felicitated by London's World Book of Records for contribution in fight against covid19

In a rare feat DIG Patiala Range, Vikram Jeet Duggal has received a Certificate of Commitment from the World Book Records London as recognition of his persistent hard work and leading from the front ability during the battle against Covid-19.

Jasvir Singh Shinda Adjudicator and Punjab Vice President World Book of Records London (UK) bestowed the certificate to the 2007 Batch IPS Officer of Telangana Cadre, who is on inter cadre deputation to Punjab and has served as SSP Amritsar Rural and then as SSP Patiala.

Police officers have been at the forefront during fight against pandemic by not only enforcing curfews and lockdowns, but also educating public through village police officers and quelling rumours.

Authorities of the World Book of records opined that Across the globe, they have recognised dedication and relentless commitment for promoting safety against Covid-19 pandemic and pledge to serve the society with honesty and sincerity for reducing human sufferings also to guide for the best prevention of coronavirus disease as specified by the World Health Organisation. They have recognised numerous police officers throughout India for their commitment to fight the pandemic.
