Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Monday took fresh potshots at Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and accused him of setting India on fire by provoking the farmers. Kangana took to Twitter and wrote, "By setting the fire on the country, by putting the farmers on the road, the local revolutionaries are enjoying the cold abroad. Wow .. this is called local revolution."
Soon, Diljit came back strongly and slammed the Bollywood actress. Diljit took to Twitter and slammed Kangana in Punjabi. He said, "You live with such misconceptions about yourself, don’t think Punjabis have forgotten what you’ve done. We will have our answer for you soon."
Kangana soon replied in Hindi and said, "Time will tell, friend, who fought for the rights of the farmers and who against them… Hundred lies cannot hide one truth, and you will never be hated if you care for someone with all your heart. You think all of Punjab is against me? Haha don’t dream so big your heart will break."
Diljit yet again replied, "I don’t understand what her problem with farmers is. Ma’am, all of Punjab is with the farmers. No one is talking about you.". The Punjabi singer even offered Kangana a job as his PR.
