Punjabi singer & actor Diljit Dsoanjh has been facing heat over social media after Pakistani actress Hania Aamir was seen in the newly released trailer of upcoming Punjabi movie Sardaar Ji 3. Sardaar JI 3 is a horro-comedy Punjabi movie that is all set to release in theaters on June 27, 2025. In the first trailer of Sardaar Ji 3, there was no sign of Hania Aamir. Hence, there was not much of an outrage was witnessed. However, in the latest trailer that was released on Sunday night, Pakistani actress Hania Aamir was acting and romancing alongside Diljit Dosanjh. As a result, fans on social media were outraged by Diljit Dosanjh's decision to go ahead with the movie with Hania Aamir in the starcast despite there is a ban on Pakistanis in India.
Sardaar Ji 3 to be banned?
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). President B.N. Tiwari, was quoted by a Hindi news portal, saying that the federation will ensure the film is not released in India. “We had already issued a ban warning for this film. If Diljit proceeds with its release, whether in India or abroad, we will impose a complete ban on him, his production house White Leather House, and all associated producers,” Tiwari said.
He added, “Diljit won’t be allowed to perform even at a railway station. His events, shows, everything will be barred. We will inform the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, the Home Ministry, and even the Prime Minister’s Office seeking immediate action. This is not just a violation, it’s an act of betrayal.”
The controversy deepens as the trailer was not shared on YouTube but only on Instagram. Reports suggest that this was done to avoid YouTube’s crackdown on Pakistani content post the Pahalgam terror attack, after which all Pakistani content was reportedly purged from Indian platforms.
Tiwari also linked the issue to national sentiment following the Pahalgam attack. “The wounds of the victims and their families are still fresh. Supporting Pakistani artists in such times is unacceptable. Anyone siding with such elements will be considered anti-national,” he said.

Chill, man; it's just another trending music video banger."
What did Hania Aamir say about the Indian Army after Operation Sindoor?
Despite India targeting the terror camps, Pakistani actress Hania Aamir posted a story on her Instagram allegedly condemning the Indian Army's action. Social media users have shared screenshots of Hania Aamir's Instagram story on X. Since Hania's Instagram account is banned in India, True Scoop cannot verify the claims.
As per the viral screenshots shared on X, Hania stated that she is angry and in pain over the air strikes by India. Despite India clarifying that it neither targetted civilian structures nor Army installations, Hania expressed her grief, saying that innocent people have been bombed. She even called India's retaliation shameful. However, Hania remained mum over the fact and did not write a single word over the terrorists who massacred 27 innocent tourists in Pakistan just because they were Hindus.
