Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Iger has confirmed on Wednesday that they are willing to follow the footsteps of Netflix and Warner in threatening to leave Georgia against the abortion law. In an interview Bob opened up about their considerations on the law.

Bob Iger said “I think many people who work for us will not want to work there, and we will have to heed their wishes in that regard. Right now we are watching it very carefully.”
He also said “I don’t see how it practical for us to continue to shoot there”.

Disney has already filmed blockbuster movies in Georgia like Black Panther and Avengers: Endgame.  In the mean time Netflix will rethink if the law is enforced in Georgia
Previously many actors and producers have already said they will not work in Georgia because of abortion law and at the same time few remained silent on the law.

Meanwhile the former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams tweeted in concern with the law on Wednesday after Iger comment. Iger said “Georgia stands to lose Netflix & Disney. This means lost jobs for carpenters, hair dressers , food workers & 100s of states eager to welcome film + protect women,” and with hashtag: “Consequences.”
