Buckingham Palace earlier today announced that the doctor looking after Queen Elizabeth II is “concerned for Her Majesty’s health” and is under strict supervision.

The announcement comes right a day after the 96-year-old longest reigning monarch canceled a meeting for her Privy Council and was advised to take a rest.

The announcement further said that the queen was “comfortable” and is currently at the Balmoral castle in Scotland where she was during the summer. However, doctors are still concerned with Queen’s health.

The newly elected British PM Liz Truss has raised her concern with a tweet saying, “The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime. My thoughts — and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom — are with Her Majesty, The Queen, and her family at this time,”

As per several reports that have emerged Queen has been struggling with health complications since October last year and has continuously been counselled by a team of dedicated doctors for her Majesty.
