Just after murder, the boy escaped from the ground. Police received information early in the morning and then reached on the spot to further investigate the matter.
In this regard, neighbour of the deceased said, they received a phone call from second son of the deceased man saying that his father is not picking up the call, go to our place and check where he is.

When the neigbour reached their home he saw dead corpses filled with blood lying on floor.
In this connection, DSP Ajnala Sohan Singh said that the boy was addicted to drugs and that the boy had killed his father and grandmother with a sharp weapon and he has already been booked under the NDPS Act in the past. He had also murdered a man during fight in the jail. The rest of the case is being investigated.
