Drunk foreigner runs shirtless on Chennai's busy road & tries to bite commuters; Netizens term it 'old video'

A video on Monday went viral on social media in which a drunk tourist was seen creating a ruckus and even attacking common people on the busy roads of Chennai.

In a bizarre development, a drunk foreigner recently created a ruckus in Chennai forcing the local Police to physically hold him. A video on Monday went viral on social media in which a drunk tourist was seen creating a ruckus and even attacking common people on the busy roads of Chennai. As per reports, the foreigner even tried to bite a man who was on his bike. While there were other foreigners who were trying to control him, he continued to attack other people. Finally, the public called the cops who sprung into action immediately. As per reports, the bizarre incident took place near Royapettah junction in Chennai.

 

The ruckus turned so ugly that the police had to physically hold the drunk man and drag him away. The other drunk man was seen standing at one place trying to get hold of himself, while 2-3 police personnel were seen trying hard to control the other drunk man who was trying to bite people.

 

Notably, netizens pointed out that the video that is going viral is old. As a result, True Scoop News tried to dig more about the incident and it found a similar case was reported in November 2023. As per the report, the foreigner was from the US and he was employed at a solar firm in Sriperumbudur. He was booked for creating a ruckus near Nungambakkam High Road. He was arrested and later let off on bail.
