After Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the big announcement of India's entry in the big four space powers by shooting down a low orbit satellite using an anti-satellite missile, the Election Commission had sought an active transcript after the deliberations and discussions over PM's address in an 'internal consultation'.
The urgency of the address by the Prime Minister will be analysed after the government submit the active transcript of the PM's speech.
The opposition also lashed out on the Prime Minister as he made this announcement just when the Lok Sabha Elections are around the corner.

"There is no great urgency in conducting and announcing the mission now by a government past its expiry date. It seems a desperate oxygen to save the imminent sinking of the BJP boat. We are lodging a complaint with the Election Commission,” tweeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, earlier in the day, made a public address announcing the successful completion of Mission Shakti.
