Election Commission has issued a press statement stating BJP must remove the two from its star campaigner list immediately.
The statement read, " Election Commission has ordered the removal of Anurag Thakur and Parvesh Sahib Singh from the list of star campaigners of Bharatiya Janata party for the general elections to the Legislative Assembly of the NCT of Delhi with immediate effect and until further orders."
The Election Commission's action is followed by the controversial remarks made by the two BJP leaders while addressing at election campaign in Delhi.
