The Enforcement Directorate's probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case has intensified. Currently, the ED is investigating the money laundering case against Rhea Chakraborty and is now seeking details from the Mumbai Police.

The ED, however, has already asked the Mumbai Police for the statement copies of the witnesses who have been interrogated by the Mumbai police earlier in connection with the actor. The agency has also written two letters for the digital evidence collected so far during the investigation carried by the Mumbai police.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the ED had written four letters to the Mumbai police seeking Sushant’s seized phone and call record details to which the police have not yet responded.

Meanwhile, the Rajput’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh said, "the Maharashtra police cannot refuse ED’s request because the agency has complete jurisdiction over the matter since the FIR has been registered."

Earlier, he has also alleged the Mumbai police for not filing an FIR when the late actor’s family had expressed their concern for the actor. He also claimed that the police refused to take any action citing technicalities. “Mumbai police murdered the CrPC by insisting on a written complain in Feb,” SSR's lawyer, Vikas Singh was quoted by an eminent news agency.
