In the latest face-off going on between Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Governor Banwarilal Purohit, CM Mann recently released a video of himself indirectly replying to B.L Purohit over the allegations he has put on government. Although the CM did not mention his name but it is clear that his statements are befitting replies to Banwarilal Purohit.

In the video released, CM Mann stated that in a democracy elected are more valuable than the selected. He further added that decision-making lies in the hand of elected people and selected ones should not interfere in the same. Adding to this, he said that some people have gone off track but they will soon be brought back on the right path. In the end, CM Mann said that the laws through which selected people are trying to stop the government, same law will be used to answer them.

For the unversed, the clash between CM Mann and Banwarilal Purohit started on Monday evening. Punjab’s Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Monday wrote a letter to CM Mann questioning some of the latter’s decision. In the letter, he mentioned that there was a lack of transparency in selecting teachers for sending them to Singapore for training. It further added that Kuldeep Singh Chahal was appointed as the Jalandhar Police Commissioner ignoring all the allegations put up against him.

In the letter sent to CM Mann, the Governor sought the criteria and details of the entire selection process that will be followed for sending Principals to Singapore for training.
