Punjab Chief Election Officer Sibin C has said that the Election Commission of India has deployed SSPs in 5 districts of the state.
Informing the media, the Chief Electoral Officer announced the transfer of the following SSPs:
- Deepak Parik has been posted as SSP Bathinda
- Ankur Gupta has been posted as SSP Jalandhar Rural
- Simrat Kaur has been posted SSP Malerkotla
- Suhail Kasim Mir has been posted as SSP Pathankot
- Dr. Pragya Jain has been posted as SSP Fazilka
