Elon Musk’s Twitter deal is again in jeopardy; Know what happens next?

Elon Musk Twitter Deal: American billionaire Elon Musk is constantly sharing bot accounts ie fake and spam accounts on Twitter and is constantly saying that he will not do any deal until the company presents details on fake and spam accounts. 

According to a report in the American post, Musk's team has told that Twitter cannot verify its statistics on spam accounts. It is being said that due to this the deal with Twitter has been put in danger and the round of talks on the deal has also come to an end. People familiar with this matter have to say that Tesla chief Musk has put the deal in jeopardy.

A spokesperson for the company said, “ Twitter has continued to share information with Musk to complete the transaction process by the terms of the merger agreement and will continue to do so.” The company believes that this deal is in the interest of all shareholders. We intend to stop the transaction and enforce the merge agreement on agreed points and terms.' Due to the recent comments of the world's richest man Elon Musk and since the announcement of the Twitter deal, Twitter share prices have seen a significant drop. 


Despite being given access to access internal data, Allen's team was unable to provide accurate numbers of spam accounts on the microblogging site. Significantly, Twitter is used by billions of people around the world. According to news agency, Twitter said that it removes at least 1 million spam accounts from the platform daily. American billionaire Musk wants to buy Twitter. 

However, in the past, he had expressed displeasure about this microblogging platform and said that he can end this deal. Earlier, Musk had estimated that about 20 per cent of Twitter's 229 million accounts are fake. He also said that this estimate is his minimum estimate. 

Along with this, Musk also indicated that he would like to pay less for Twitter than the US $ 44 billion offer made last month. Tesla Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Elon Musk has said that his deal to buy Twitter cannot proceed unless the company publicly shows evidence that less than 5 per cent of fake or spam accounts on its platform.
