Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Scott had been hospitalized before, when she had initially attempted to commit suicide. Towards the end of July officials reported that they had received a call from Scott’s home.
Over the call they received the information that there was a suicidal person in the house and that she needed help. When the police officers arrived, she denied making any such call and was being defensive when her vitals were being checked.
This alerted the officers and they had to restrain her and take her into medical attention. The reason behind the incident is said to be the death of her mother, Kathleen Sluck, who had died earlier in July.
Scott’s mother was 65 years old, her funeral was arranged at Lee-Ellena Funeral Home. It was harder for Kim to go through the loss of her mother as she had lost her sister in 2016.
Kim’s sister, Dawn Scott had died at the age of 41 due to a suspected heroin overdose. After which she had been struggling to get back her momentum in life “ never feel whole again” she said as she spoke about her sister’s death.
“Dawn was my sweet, beautiful sister who lost her way” she added.
The ‘Love yourself’ rapper and Kim Scott married back in the year 1999. Soon after they filed for a divorce and split in the year 2001, after which they briefly got back together in the year 2006.
Kim and Eminem have a daughter together named Hailie who looks exactly like Eminem and fans had been tweeting about it recently.
