A recent interaction between a CEO and an employee has gained significant attention on social media, sparking a debate about company leave policies. Ankit Aggarwal, the founder and CEO of Unstop, shared a chat screenshot on LinkedIn without disclosing the employee's identity. "This popped up on my WhatsApp this morning," he wrote alongside the post, revealing that an employee had requested time off due to an ongoing late-night party.

The employee messaged, "Hi Ankit, good morning. After a long time, I would like to request leave for a late night party. I went to a Music concert and the party is just now." The employee expressed remorse and confirmed their presence in the office the next day.

In response, Boss Aggarwal conveyed understanding, saying, "Cool. I hope you had a great concert. Take us as well sometime."

Aggarwal stressed the importance of nurturing an environment of transparency and trust within the team, especially amidst the ongoing pandemic. He underscored the value of establishing a workplace culture where employees feel at ease being open with each other, as it fosters trust, improves communication, and ultimately contributes to the team's achievements.
