In eighth encounter in Punjab this month, two gangsters associated with notorious gangster Prince Chauhan were arrested. The accused have been identified as Brijpal and Pradeep, a.k.a Shanti. One of the gangsters reportedly suffered gunshot wounds in the encounter. Two automatic weapons were seized by the police from the miscreants. They were reportedly also responsible for firing at a Congress leader Chawla’s house in Kurali.
Mohali SSP Sandeep Garg informs that the two wanted criminals, Brijpal and Pradeep alias Shanti, residents of Narayangarh, Ambala, were arrested after a police encounter. They came to open fire at a property dealer. After ignoring police’ warnings, they attempted to flee on a motorcycle. In the ensuing gunfire, they were injured and admitted to the civil hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
One was arrested by the police for questioning and the other was admitted to the hospital.
