Entire Uttar Pradesh came into alert when a B.tech student was stabbed to death in broad daylight in Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow on Thursday. On the basis of CCTV footage, UP Police nabbed the murderer. As per police, the accused named 'Aman Bahadur' is the son of a former BSP MLA. Aman is a student of a private university in Lucknow, he was arrested on Friday.
Engineering student Prashant Singh was stabbed to death in Alaknanda apartment complex on Thursday. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras of the complex in Gomti Nagar.
Police suspect that the murder is the outcome of revenge as Prashant reportedly had a fight on Wednesday night.
