The Vigilance Bureau has started an inquiry related to the Improvement Trust Scam on the top priority. This inquiry can pose serious problems to some bureaucrats and politicians.
The SSP of Vigilance Bureau, Jalandhar has been told to carry out a proper investigation in this regard and find the culprits at utmost priority.
The first phase of the inquiry revealed that surely something suspicious was going on in the Improvement Trust of Jalandhar. Also, after this many top officials and politicians are on the radar of the bureau.
Earlier two clerks of the Improvement Trust were accused of tampering with the plots of Surya Enclave and were suspended with immediate effect. Another case happened where the EO of the trust was suspended by the authorities as the local public of his area was not satisfied with him.
Jalandhar’s Corporation is totally on the radar of the Vigilance Bureau as it has also started its investigation related to the 56 crores Smart City scam.
