Recently Simranjit Singh Mann who is an MP from Sangrur Constituency landed in a controversy, after calling Bhagat Singh a “terrorist.”

After his statement, the team of TrueScoop came in contact with Bhagat Singh’s nephew Prof. Jagmohan Singh and this is what he has to say in this regard.

According to him the statement given by Simranjit Singh Mann was uncalled for. He, instead of doing his duty i.e. to represent the people and their problems is trying to divert the attention of the youth by giving such unnecessary statements.

He also stated that the family doesn’t want to take any actions against him for saying whatever he has said because people of India already know the truth about Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

He raised three important questions against the MP of the Sangrur constituency.

The first one is that he calls himself the representative of the Sikh Community but when he was SSP Faridkot, he fired 200 bullets at Gurudwara in Sarai Khaas although no firing was done from the other side. Simranjit Singh Mann also told the Nihangs inside the Gurudwara that if they will not surrender then female members of their family will be brought and insulted in front of the Nihangs. He also shot dead two Nihangs from his service revolver. He asked further “how can he call himself a representative of the community after all this?”

Secondly, he wants to know who Simranjit Singh Mann voted for in the presidential elections? He asked this question so that everyone gets whether he sticks to one side or changes it according to his convenience.

Third and the last question that he wants to ask is how many responsibilities have been fulfilled by Simranjit Sing Mann as the Member of Parliament and representative of the people, especially the youth?

In the end, he just wants to give the message to Simranjit Singh Mann that instead of playing the emotional game focus on fulfilling your responsibilities.
