Here are the changes in the weather in different parts of the world and the reason behind these changes:

CANADA: Canada’s temperature has risen above 45 degrees for the first time in history. The average temperature witnessed in the country during the month of June is 16.4 degrees Celsius but this year the temperature touched the mark of 50 degrees Celsius.

Earlier in the year 1937, the temperate in many parts of Canada has reached 45 degrees Celsius. Now it’s almost 84 years later that Canada has been suffering from such high temperatures. Due to this high temperature, more than 400 people have lost their lives. Schools, colleges, universities, offices and the vaccination centres have been closed because of high temperature.

In many parts of Canada like Vancouver, Portland, Idaho, Oregon, water sprinklers have been installed on the streets and the cooling stations have been opened everywhere.

AMERICA: After a record of 100 years, America’s Seattle temperature has been reached up to 44 degrees. There is no electricity in the Pacific Northwest Region of the USA. The temperature in America is so high that there is the possibility that fire may ignite if the electricity is supplied. Two and a half lakh people living in these regions of America have been facing difficulties due to power cuts.

EASTERN EUROPE: Countries of Eastern Europe have been experiencing a record-breaking heatwave. As per the study published in The Guardian, this heatwave and rise in temperature are due to the effect of climate change, these countries are experiencing an increase in temperature.

The Metrological Department of these eastern European countries has issued an alert and has said that there are chances that the region would witness severe rain in the upcoming days.

NEW ZEALAND: There are chances that a state of emergency could be imposed in New Zealand's capital. More than eight inches of snowfall has been witnessed in New Zealand in the last week of June. The average temperature during this time of year is between 11 to 15 degrees but this year the temperature has fallen to -4 degrees.

The condition on July 3 was so bad that a state of emergency has been declared in the capital Wellington. High waves are rising on the seashores due to this more rain is possible in the next few days. It is expected that the temperature may drop further, the reason for this is the arctic blast.

ANTARCTICA: The temperature of the Antarctic ocean is -80 degrees Celsius and this year it has gone even lower. Due to this, snowstorms are going to neighboring countries. Thick sheets have formed in some parts, which burst in June, this is called Arctic Blast. The most affected country is New Zealand.

Here are some questions, which explain the severe heat in Canada and America:

1. Why there is such a severe heatwave in Canada and Australia all of the sudden?

It is because the high pressure of air is coming from two places. The first warm air is coming from the Aleutian Islands in Alaska and the second from James Bay and Hudson Bay in Canada. These hot winds are so strong that cold sea air is not able to penetrate inside their system.

2. Is it for the first time in history?

Earlier a high-pressure system was formed once in 10 to 30 years. That is why it is being called a heat dome instead of the common heatwave, which is formed once in 10 thousand years.

3. How dangerous is this?

To date, there was no such heat in Canada. There's no way to deal with it right now. There is also the danger of fire and drought.

4. When it would stop?

There will be no change till 15th July. This can have a bad effect on the temperature of the whole world. It is difficult to make any predictions about its departure right now. The west coast adjoining the sea may remain warm for several days in a row.
