The economic crisis of Sri Lanka is now affecting the future of this country. Yes, students are called the future of any country. The stronger their education, the more the future of the country will be strong, but here even these students are getting hit by the hardships.

Actually, due to financial constraints, Sri Lanka is not able to buy paper for the students of its country and for this reason the examinations held here have also been postponed.

No paper left for the exam in the country

It is being said in media reports that Sri Lanka does not have dollars to buy paper. Due to this reason, the examinations of lakhs of students in the country have been cancelled due to not being able to buy the paper.

As of now, there is no such information as to when the examination of these students will be held. Officials say that the country does not have enough dollars to buy paper from outside.

If education officials are to be believed, the term exams of school students starting from Monday have been cancelled because there is a severe shortage of paper in the country.

Sri Lanka, which became independent in 1948, is currently going through its worst economic crisis.

According to official sources, they have been told that this decision of the government has affected two-thirds of the students of the country.

It is believed that the number of school students in Sri Lanka is around 4.5 million. The final examination in Sri Lanka is called the Term Test.

It is only after passing this exam that it is decided whether the student is eligible to go to the next class or not.

Sri Lanka is buried under debt

This is the last exam of the year. But now the students seem to be deprived of this examination. China from whom Sri Lanka has been taking loans till now is also listening to Sri Lanka's plea and ignoring it.

According to media reports, Sri Lanka is still buried under China's debt of more than $ 5 billion.

Just last year, the government here again took a loan of $ 1 billion from China to overcome the financial crisis. In the coming 12 months, this country is required to pay $ 7.3 billion, including domestic and foreign loans.

At the end of February, its foreign exchange reserves were only $ 2.3 billion. Due to this, Sri Lanka has a severe shortage of foreign exchange to buy other essential things.
