Sources have informed True Scoop News that 44 women in Nabhaprison have tested Covid +ve.
The authorities are opining that of these 44 women, two havebeen visiting court premises regarding their hearing in the Court of Law a lotrecently.
They believe that they must have contracted the menacingpandemic somewhere outside the prison premises.
The prison authorities are deciding that even more testingand even stricter following of the guidelines of the government regardingCorona will be implemented.
In other prisons in Punjab, the latest numbers are asfollows:
Gurdaspur has 104, Ropar has 82, Kapurthala has 50, andMukstar has 21 positive cases of Covid.
All in all, experts claim that from the time in-persontrials in the Courts were restarted, the Covid situation inside the prisons hasdestabilised.
