The Flash star Ezra Miller had a moment to set themself free from one of their many recent criminal charges from last Summer as a temporary harassment order was issued against the actor in Massachusetts after the mother of a 12-year-old accused Miller of acting indecently around her child was lifted Friday after a court hearing. The actor's attorney stated that no criminal charges were filed against them and all the contact between the actor and the child was initiated by the mother only and the actor was never alone with the child. Reports claiming that Ezra was armed with a weapon during their interactions were also debunked by both the actor and the attorney.

“The original order, pursued by Shannon Guin, on behalf of her minor child, was based on untrue allegations,” Ezra's attorney Elkins said in a statement. “Frustratingly for Ezra, Guin lodged her false allegations at a time when Ezra was struggling with significant mental health issues and was unable to come to court to defend themself against the spurious claims made by this individual. Had Ezra been able to appear in court last year and share the truth about their very limited interactions with Ms. Guin, I am confident the original order would have never been issued.”

The actor also spoke up about the incident on their Instagram handle where they were grateful to the people who supported them and also spoke about how the media used these false charges to spike public outrage towards them and add fuel to the fire which the actor felt was unjust to them. The actor has been going through a rough patch lately due to so many criminal allegations such as assault, burglary among many others which hindered their career prospects too, and with the actor going through intensive mental health treatment for the last year, they were largely absent for the promotions of The Flash and this is the second time the actor has spoken publically since the film's release. Even though the DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran supported the actor during these tough times and the director of the film Andy Muschietti also confirmed that Ezra will surely return as the titular character if a sequel is greenlit but as of now, there is a huge uncertainty whether the actor will return or not due to the poor box office performance of the film and all the controversies they have been embroiled in but with the actor putting one case behind them and the timeline of the franchise seeing a new lease, we can still have a ray of hope that the actor makes a solid comeback after all the adversities.
