The Golden Temple video has sparked a massive uproar on social media ever since the girl was allegedly denied entry into the Shri Harmandir Sahib of Amritsar with tricolour painted on her face. The Golden Temple video broke the internet on Monday alleging that the girl was denied entry by a Sewadar as she had painted her face with the Indian flag. The video became an epicentre of a storm when the Sewadar was heard saying in the video that 'This is Punjab, not India' and that the girl cannot enter the premises in such a way. Now, another video has surfaced and a section of media alleges that the girl was basically denied entry due to her attire and not because of the Tricolour. Sewadar Sabjit in a video statement alleged that he denied entry to the girl as she was wearing a skirt and to enter the Golden Temple a certain dress code needs to be followed. Furthermore, Sabjit alleged that the video was shared on social media with a vested interest and to malign the images of Sikhs in Punjab. So, what is the reality? Below is an attempt of True Scoop News to fact-check the Golden Temple video based on the theories revolving around it and what the video is actually portraying-

Going by the new Golden Temple video, the girl can be seen in between a group of angry people while the raging people can be seen slamming a man who apparently threw something in the dustbin. Then the camera pans toward the girl and the people can be heard expressing their anger saying that she is wearing a skirt. However, if you will watch the video carefully, the girl is not wearing a skirt. The girl can be seen wearing leggings underneath. So, people claiming that the girl wore skirt and tried to enter the Golden Temple cannot be considered accurate.

Another theory is that the girl applied tricolour on her face after she was denied entry into the Golden Temple due to her dress. In the new Golden Temple video, tricolour cannot be seen painted on the girl's face. Furthermore, social media users are claiming the girl was used as a pawn by vested interest powers.
