On Monday, Akshay Kumar refuted rumours that he had agreed to reduce his performance fees for Bell Bottom from Rs 117 crores to Rs 30 crores after producer Vashu Bhagnani requested it. According to reports, Vashu made the request to the celebrity due to the financial loss he has suffered as a result of the delay in the release of Bell Bottom.
The producer wrote, “Bell Bottom was supposed to be released in April, but it has been postponed due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. The delay was not anticipated, resulting in an increase in Bell Bottom's budget. “What waking up to FAKE Scoops feels like!” wrote Akshay Kumar on Twitter in response to the report.
Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor, and Lara Dutta feature in Ranjit Tiwari's film Bell Bottom. The film is described as a spy thriller and was written by Aseem Arora and Parveez Sheikh. It was planned to be released in April. Bell Bottom is produced by Nikhil Advani's Emmay Entertainment, in beside to Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment.
