Faridkot: 3 shooters arrested in Dera Premi Murder Case, informs DGP Punjab

Pakistani Intelligence alleges that ISI brain might be involved in this murder.

In the latest development of Dera Premi murder case, two more shooters have got arrested by Punjab Police. Information about the same was given by DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav. Prior to this, Faridkot police arrested Baljit Singh who is son of a sub-inspector of Punjab Police, from Bathinda. He was accused of providing food and accommodation to three more shooters from Haryana who were involved in this incident. As per information, both shooters got arrested in a joint operation by CI Jalandhar, Faridkot and Hoshiarpur Police.

Reportedly, around 60 rounds of firing were done at Dera Premi Pradeep Singh who died on November 10, 2022. Although Goldy Brar took responsibility of murder, Pakistani Intelligence alleged that ISI brain might be involved in this murder. Out of all miscreants that got arrested, 2 of them were minor who are residents of Rohtak and Bhiwani in Haryana/

As per information, it was on November 10, 2022 when Dera Sacha Sauda follower was shot dead on Thursday by unidentified miscreants. Pradeep Singh(deceased) was shot dead by three bike-borne miscreants while he was opening his shop. Pradeep's security personnel did retaliatory firing too, however, the Dera Sacha Sauda follower succumbed to his injuries.

Bargari Sacrilege Case

On 1 June 2015, the Guru Granth Sahib was stolen from a gurdwara in village Burj Jawahar Singhwala in Faridkot. The holy book, as ordained by the last and tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, is considered a “living guru”. Stealing or damaging it amounts to sacrilege of the highest order in the Sikh religion. To be precise, the 2015 Guru Granth Sahib desecration refers to a series of desecration incidents of the Sikh Guru Guru Granth Sahib and subsequent protests that took place in Punjab, India in October 2015. The first incident of desecration was reported from Bargari, Faridkot district, where 110 torn Angs of the holy Guru were found on 12 October.
