Post the incident where a Dera Sacha Sauda follower was shot dead by unidentified miscreants on Thursday morning, a high-level meeting by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been called. The Chief Minister is having a meeting with DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav and other senior officials at his residence.
Reportedly, it is being stated that Pradeep Singh(deceased) was shot dead by three bike-borne miscreants while he was opening his shop. Pradeep's security personnel did retaliatory firing too, however, the Dera Sacha Sauda follower succumbed to his injuries. Concerned police officials have initiated an investigation and search operation has been launched to identify killers through provided CCTV footage.
Post the murder incident, CM Mann tweeted that strict orders have been given to the senior officials regarding the security of Punjab.
Along with this DGP Gaurav Yadav also tweeted saying that the situation is under control and investigation is being carried out. He requested people not to spread any hatred through this news.
