Speaking on the budget session of the Parliament, Ms Gandhi said there are many serious issues of public concern that need to be debated and discussed but only if the government is willing to discuss.
On National security
Sonia Gandhi also spoke about the shocking reports on how national security has been compromised.

The government has inflicted immense sufferings on the people of this country by how it has managed the coronavirus pandemic. The scars will take years to heal, she said.
No country’s economic grim
The Congress president further adds that the economic situation in the country remains grim and large parts of the economy like MSME and the informal sector have been destroyed with the Centre refusing to repair it.

"Panic privatization has gripped the government and this is something that the Congress party can never accept and support," she added.
