Farmers' Protest: Ahead of 10th round talks, farmers ask to allow Tractor march, Supreme Court hearing today

The farmer leaders are eager to carry out their Tractor rally on January 26. For the purpose of this parade, many farmers are coming from various parts of India.

Ahead of the 10th round of talks, farmers ask the government to allow "peaceful tractor march" despite the agriculture minister saying that most of the farmers and experts are happy with the laws.

While hearing Delhi police's plea to stay the 'tractor march' to be carried out by farmers on the Republic day, January 26, the Supreme Court had clearly stated that the Delhi police and government is at liberty to invoke all its power to maintain law and order situation and decide on the entry to Delhi.

The farmer leaders are eager to carry out their Tractor rally on January 26. For the purpose of this parade, many farmers are coming from various parts of India. They set off to for Delhi ahead of January 26, they said they didn't want rush on the roads.

Moreover, as per the report published in The Telegraph, one of the leader of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), Rakesh Tikait said, they are of the view that they are ready to protest till 2024.

Sukdev Singh Kokrikalan said that there is great enthusiasm among the people of Punjab to be part of this tractor march. The Bharatiya Ekta Ugrahan's General Secretary added that the batches of people will start moving towards Delhi from January 23.

Everyone is waiting for the hearing of the court on the plea of Delhi police. It was adjourned for today on January 18.
