While the farmers have announced two days of postponement of their Delhi march after the death of a young protesting farmer at Khanauri border, a farmer leader on Thursday made multiple allegations. Guramneet Mangat, General Secretary of Progressive Farmers Front while addressing a press conference at Shambhu Border on Thursday alleged that Haryana Police and Paramilitary forces entered into the Punjab border during the faceoff and even assaulted doctors who were present there to treat the protestors. Not only this, Mangat demanded answers from the Punjab Government asking how the Police forces could enter into another Indian state. Below is what Guramneet Mangat said-

"First of all, we would condemn the fact that Haryana Police and Paramilitary forces entered Punjab and attacked farmers and medical camps. The Punjab government should answer how Haryana Police and paramilitary forces crossed the border and entered Punjab. They attacked farmers' camps, tractors and 6 of our people are missing after the action... On humanity's ground, if a war is going on between two countries then no forces attack medical teams. But, yesterday in Khanauri, the forces assaulted the doctors in the medical camp and also robbed them. This only proves that this government has crossed all the limits of brutality.

Notably, Haryana Police on Wednesday accused the protesting farmers of surrounding the police personnel deployed at the Datta Singh-Khanauri border point and burning stubble mixed with chilly powder. The Police alleged that the farmers even attacked the security personnel with sticks and maces and pelted stones, seriously injuring at least 12 policemen.
