While Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Punjab during his Himachal tour on November 5, farmers unions have started a front against him. They cited the reason that Prime Minister have always been against farmers so whenever he’ll visit the state, will have to face opposition from them.

As soon as the information of his visit came out, farmers union announced a state-wide protest against his visit and stated that his effigies will be burnt by them as a symbol of their anger. They have further appealed the Dera Mukh not to meet PM. According to them Narendra Modi is not in favor of farmers and laborers.

The protest is being initiated by farmers during PM Modi’s visit because they want to seek justice for more than 750 farmers that were killed during the protest. It was further added by them that the decision taken by him to privatize electricity has also gone against them. The heads of union stated that Central Government is every now and then holding farmers responsible for increasing pollution in the state but is not talking about smoke emitted from their own set-up factories, vehicles, etc.

As per the information, Prime Minister will reach Punjab on November 5 and pay a visit to Dera Radha Soami at Beas. His meeting with the head of Dera, Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon is also on cards during the visit.
