No matter how fancy the cloths are, few nature lovers are always ready with a written note hundred of questions for the company. However, the environmentalist is always trying to know if the fabric has somehow affected nature.
This news is for those who seem a little desperate and overly obsessed with nature in connection to fashion. The Company Zara has officially announced the soothing news of making their clothes 100% sustainable by 2025.
Zara is the part of the world’s third-largest apparel ‘Inditex’ and accounts to their 70% of the sales. The company becomes the first international biggie to initiate such a move.
According to the reports, the company will use 80% energy in its factories and stores extracted from renewable sources. The company promised a zero landfills waste.
In an interview, the chief executive of Inditex Pablo Isla said: “We need to be a force for change, not only in the company but in the whole sector."
“We are the ones establishing these targets: the strength and impulse for change is coming from the commercial team, the people who are working with our suppliers, the people working with fabrics. It is something that’s happening inside our company.”
Well when the world needs these initiations to bring about a change, such biggies showing up is nothing less than a motivation.
Nevertheless and it’s never too late to take a step, we surely would expect other companies to either follow or come up with their own plans to deal with the corrupting nature. We all should stand in the rescue of the mother earth and its beautiful nature.
