FIR against 3 AAP leaders in Jalandhar: Made indecent remarks on the female leader of Kapurthala

The Aam Aadmi Party's continuous faction war in Kapurthala has now extended to the police station. Three AAP leaders have been named in the women leader's complaint to the Jalandhar Police for making sexual remarks on social media. The Police of Thana Division 5 have filed a charge against the three AAP leaders under several laws.

AAP's female leader said in her police complaint that Parminder Singh, Yashpal Azad, and Kunwar Iqbal made explicit sexual comments about her on the messaging app WHATSAPP. However, Kunwar Iqbal also called her and threatened to kill her.

Following the complaint, the Jalandhar Police Station Division 5 has filed a case under sections 354A, 294, 506, 507, 509, and 120B against the three accused. So far, no accused has been arrested.
