In the latest development, an FIR has been registered against a famous Ludhiana-based social media influencer for allegedly blackmailing a businessman. There are allegations that the accused used to threaten the businessman with help of her male friend. A case against her has been registered at Mohali Police Station.
Reportedly, Ludhiana’s Model Town-based businessman Gurbir Singh accused that he was getting threatening calls from a WhatsApp number. The victim stated that the caller has threatened to kill his family after which he suspected Jasneet to be the accused. As per the information, a case was registered against Jasneet in the year 20233 for blackmailing the businessman. After carrying out an investigation, police received information that Jasneet along with two other unidentified miscreants were calling the victim and threatening him for money. The police have initiated search operation to arrest the accused.
Ludhiana-based social media influencer Jasneet Kaur is a resident of flat number 1006 Diamond Tower Number 8 Sector 88 SAS Nagar. She owns a BMW car worth Rs. 75 lakhs. Police are further investigating whether the accused is involved in any other case.
Allegedly Jasneet Kaur used to upload her obscene videos and photos on Instagram. Through this people used to get attracted and started talking to her. Post this, she used to blackmail them with the help of her friends.
