In a major development, Indian educational technology company PhysicsWallah on Saturday came under the scanner after a video went viral on social media where a romantic was screening inside a classroom. PW Vidyapeeth Srinagar video showcased the screening of a famous romantic song 'Ik Vaari' of Sushant Singh Rajput inside the classroom. However, the screening of the song in PW Vidyapeeth Srinagar did not go well with a section of people stating that the clip played was obscene in nature.
As a result, Aaqib Bhat, a student and activist in Kashmir, filed an FIR against the Srinagar branch of PhysicsWallah, one of India's top online ed-tech platforms that provides affordable learning experience for students for exam categories ranging from IIT JEE exam, NEET exam, Defence exam, Govt job exam and CA exam.
Aaquib on his X handle wrote, "Filed an FIR against PW vidyapeeth Srinagar for the shocking viral video. Such things have no place in Kashmir. The video depicts obscene scenes within the classroom, a blatant disregard for decency and education.Always opposed their so called emotionally & fake selections."
The activist shared another video in which the teacher who played the song in the classroom issued a clarification. As per the teacher, it was the PW management who telecasted the video.
