Firing outside Drake's Toronto mansion; Security guard shot & seriously injured

A security guard working at Drake’s Bridle Path mansion in Toronto was seriously injured in a shooting outside the residence early Tuesday morning.

In a shocking development, fans around the world were left worried after a firing incident took place outside Drake's Toronto Mansion. At first, it was not confirmed whether Drake was shot or not. Later, the Canadian media reports confirmed that Drake was not shot but his security guard received bullet injuries due to which he was rushed to a hospital. As per reports, a security guard working at Drake’s Bridle Path mansion in Toronto was seriously injured in a shooting outside the residence early Tuesday morning. 

 

At 2:30 am, Police tape and patrol cars were seen at the rapper's home near Park Lane Circle and Post Road. Emergency crews were called to the area at approximately 2:09 a.m. for reports of a shooting. Inspector Paul Krawczyk was quoted saying that the suspect, or suspects, involved in the shooting fled the scene in a vehicle. The description of which has not been released by police. Investigators are currently reviewing video footage of the incident. 

On a possible link between the shooting and Drake's latest beef with another rapper Kendrick Lamar, Krawczyk said it’s too early to tell if there is a connection.

Reacting to Drake shooting incident, a user wrote, "Kendrick had nothing to do with this let's not start saying he did.. that's how one of our favorite artists actually get hurt."

 

Another user wrote, "Weird. Rich neighbourhood that has no need of gun violence. And just happens to be infront of the house of Drake. But has nothing to do with him? Either something going on in there camp or a stunt."

 

"This is all stage lol …. Drake doing anything just to get back at Kendrick after he ended his career," wrote another user.
